FRP gratings

High strength
FRP molded grating combines fiberglass roving with specially formulated resin to form high performance molded gratings.

Corrosion - proof
FRP molded grating is made from continuous fiberglass reinforcement in combination with either polyester or vinyl resins to provide excellent corrosion resistance.

Stock - proof
FRP grating repeated deflections are allowed without provoking permanent deformation.

Fire retardant
FRP grating has a class 1 flame spread rating of 25 or less per ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test method.

Non - conductive
excellent non-conductive features make FRP grating fits electrical work platforms, flooring and walkways.

Non - slip
the concave top surface of molded FRP gratings is created during the molding process in order to achieve no-slip features. A grit surface is also available.

Non - sparking
FRP grating is specially suited for installations where hydrogen or other combustible gases may be present, unlike metallic grating which may explode or burst into flame because of sparks produced by an accidental dropping of tools onto the grating.

Maintenance -free
FRP grating should never require costly maintenance such as painting or coating due to its molded-in color.

Easy to install
because of the FRP grating light weight, about a fourth of steel grating. FRP grating is light enough to be handled by personnel and does not require the heavy equipment that instead is needed for steel gratings. That reduces installation and manufacturing costs.
